They should be ready by monday. After that me and my dad had a nice warm lunch in a Warung (place where you can eat along the road of which there are loads overhere). Here you could taste the real Malay food instead of the fusion or westernised flavours they serve in the resort for 1/10th of the price. I am not saying the food in the resort it bad, on the contrary, it is very good, but the flavours are not the same as on the street. On our way back we passed the padi's (ricefields) which are always very bright green, even in dark weather and rubber tree forrests. When we got back home the sun decided to show its face again and after a short break we went for a swim in the sea for the first time. That was nice and WARM water hahaha, then we had a dip in the pool to get the salt off before watching a very nice sunset......after which it started to rain again.
In the evening we again had a super nice dinner which we arrange in the afternoon through on of the main waiters in the Sands restaurant. He (is from Indonesia like much of the staff is) arranged with the chef and the management that we could have Soto Ajam (chicken soup), with dadar kepiting (not sure if it is spelled like that, crab omelet), kankung (sort of a spinach but much nicer, stirfried) and rice. That was absolutely wonderful!! After the traditional beer/cocktails I am here again :)
Seeya tomorrow
